Brody is two! This little man ran around exploring the gardens at Southern Exposure. I could barely keep up with him. He was really helping me hone my skills in coming up with some tricks to photograph his sweet face. LOL. I had a lot of photos of the back of his head! By the end of our session, I switched to my telephoto lens and shot through the flowers to capture him in his element. It’s no wonder his mom is a runner- I’m sure he keeps her on her toes! 🙂 Enjoy some of my favorite photos from this two year milestone session!
The days are long but the years are short… or so I’ve been told! Regardless of how you see it- now is the time to capture your babes! Don’t delay! It kinda breaks my heart when parent’s come to me and say that they haven’t had professional portraits taken in a few years.
I love to get to know my clients and come up with a location that will speak to them as a family. This summer I’ve had the privilege of coming into so many families’ homes or cottages to capture them in “their happy place”. I know that professional photography is an investment and you may not be sure if it’s something you want to invest in. But I assure you, you will not have any regrets when you see your beautiful kiddos gracing the walls of your home and office. I have 2 large canvases of my girls in my living room, and although they are from a year ago, I honestly just love to sit in there and look at their darling faces-and I’m in awe of how much they have changed in that short span of time!
One of the reasons why I offer mini sessions is to meet new clients and to give them a little taste of the “Laura Hollander” photo experience. These sessions are at a pre-determined location and are shorter in time, but you will get the chance to see what it’s like to work with me, as well as some great photos. Mini sessions are about 1/2 the price of regular sessions, so they are a great starting point if you don’t feel like you can invest in a deluxe session just yet. 😉 I’m hosting summer mini sessions in Battle Creek this weekend, as well as in Grand Rapids on August 3 and 4.
