I just love meeting local high school students for senior portraits. They are young, fresh, excited about life and entering their last year of high school. Their future is full of possibilities! Hadleigh is a going to be a senior at Pennfield High School this fall. She is kind, quiet, smart and sweet. What a joy to be able to spend an evening with her and some of her family who tagged along!
We started out her session in my home studio where she had her make-up professionally done and I took a few studio portraits. I love the simplicity that studio portraits bring to a session! A big thank you to Ashley out of Elwell Salon in Battle Creek for her talented air brush make-up skills!
After the studio we headed to Willard Beach in Battle Creek. I love this location because it’s local and rustic with natural shoreline, trees and wildflowers.
After Willard Beach we drove to Southern Exposure in Battle Creek to take advantage of their gorgeous farm and gardens! I just love the vintage greenhouse as well as all of the floral and green backdrops!
I was so excited that this image was featured on Senior Style Guide on Instagram!!
Thanks to Hadleigh’s mom for capturing this behind the scenes photo in the greenhouse! 🙂
The sunset on the way home was too gorgeous not to capture, so we hopped out of our cars for a few quick photos! I love how these came out!
So, my obvious question is “Have you had your senior portraits taken yet!?” I am now booking senior portraits through the fall, don’t miss out on an exclusive portrait experience! I honestly love documenting this turning point in these young people’s lives and I hope it shows! I would love to meet you and talk about your interests and what you are looking for in your photos!
