I’m coming at you today with another gorgeous senior session!  So excited to share some of my favorites from Ciarra’s senior portraits taken at Southern Exposure in Battle Creek, MI.  She has a love for vintage things and I absolutely LOVE the vintage vibe we got in the first few photos. Black and white is always classic.  And when paired with a muted minty vintage car!? Total perfection in my book!  I even talked her into a brighter lip gloss for these photos!  I’m loving how they came out!

Ciarra met me at my home studio for a professional make-up session.  I include make-up with most of my senior sessions because I think it’s such a fun experience for the gals and it makes you look FLAWLESS in your photos- even with the most basic, natural make-up- it truly makes a difference.  You can always go a little heavier with make-up application for photos as it doesn’t “read” that heavy in your portraits.  I have a couple of awesome make-up artists that I work with in Battle Creek so if you are looking for recommendations just holler at me!

We had some gorgeous sunset/ golden hour light for Ciarra’s session that we took advantage of in most of her photos.  I love her wardrobe choices- these cute little “romper shorts with longer trains”  that all these girls are rocking are SO cute!  I love the movement with a flowing top or skirt in photos!  Also- accessories are KEY!  I love a floppy hat, scarf, jacket etc to layer with your looks.

I cannot believe it is August already!  Hey girl, hey!  NOW is the time to book your summer senior session!  I still have dates available in August and am booking into September and October 🙂
