Cheers to 2018!
2017 was a huge transitional year for my business. I expected a slower beginning to the year, due to us moving to Battle Creek in August of 2016. Starting over is NEVER easy. However, meeting new clients- families, and couples- is rewarding work! I’m truly blessed to love what I do! I hope that my business will continue to grow in 2018. I have an exciting new venture to share in the coming weeks!
That being said- did you or someone you know recently get ENGAGED!? I’m currently booking 2018-2019 weddings! Here‘s a little information about my wedding style. I believe that photography is an investment- especially on your wedding day! You spend months or even years planning the perfect day to celebrate the beginning of your life with your best friend. Your photos from your wedding day are a lasting keepsake of your day!
When you begin researching photographers, I encourage you not to base your decision solely on the price tag. Please- choose a photographer for their style. Chooses a photographer who you could be friends with! I include an engagement session with all of my packages for this reason: to get to know you both better and so that you can get to know me better and see how I work! You will spend hours with your photographer on your wedding day. If you don’t trust them to capture you in your best light, or if you do not mesh well, it can affect your wedding day, your wedding party and even the end product. I love when a bride is surprised by reception photos of things she may have missed! When a couple tears up when they see their first look in print. Love is a big deal. Hire someone you trust and like. 🙂
I have a couple of lovely weddings that I have not yet shared since redoing my site and blog. So, I will be posting some of my earlier work 🙂 Here are few favorites from Victoria and Noland’s wedding last summer in Milwaukee, WI. They decided to get married in St. Thomas on a cruise. They had an intimate wedding party and family reception. We took all of their group photos on the lakeshore in Milwaukee. It was gorgeous!
