Last summer I traveled to Milwaukee, WI and took some engagement portraits for this lovely couple! This past weekend they celebrated their wedding! I cannot wait to post some photos!

But first, let’s talk about engagement photos. Shooting on a beach can be a hit or miss situation as far as lighting goes- but we lucked out with lots of gorgeous cloud cover, giving me some natural diffusion. Many clients think that sunshine is the best thing for their session- but it’s not! Clouds create a natural diffusion and will give you an even tone on your face. This is ONE good thing about West Michigan– cloud cover. all. the. time. 😉

As I started tweaking my wedding packages for 2017, I decided to include an engagement session with EVERY COLLECTION. Why? Because I think it’s one of the most important things for both you and your fiance and myself. We will be spending your entire wedding day together. I will be capturing intimate moments and working with your family and friends. Let’s make sure we get to know one another a little better before taking the “next step” LOL.

After your engagement session with me, you should feel confident in front of the camera, and confident that on your wedding day, your photography will be well-organized and your end product will be gorgeous. You will get a glimpse into how I work with you and my personality, and how I capture your personalities! My hope is that you will be extra excited about your wedding day photography! Also- it’s the worst when I have to show up to a wedding and introduce myself to the groom. :/
