kim+kevin {the wedding day}

wow, I’ve worked with a lot of “Kim’s” lately!

this wedding was great! I did Kim and Kevin’s engagement photos (and recently some bluebonnets). Kim’s mom and sisters wanted to surprise them on the wedding day, so they didn’t tell them I was going to be there! great fun! she was pretty excited. what a gorgeous setting for a wedding, a nice family gathering outdoors, simple and beautiful. unfortunately it did rain on and off. Kim looked at me and said, “Have you ever been to a wedding like this in the rain?!” — “Yes, mine.” (hopefully that made her feel a little better. My “Martha Stewart Wedding got rained on as well! and it is hot in MI, people!) What a trooper, we still got lots of pics, and she even danced in the rain. good times! enjoy:

This sweet baby boy slept like an absolute dream for his session — we captured the coziest sleepy smiles, a perfect little yawn, and even a few bright-eyed moments.

I’m now shooting in a new space in Conroe, Texas, where we can create warm, snuggly lifestyle images and beautifully styled posed prop portraits — truly the best of both worlds.
