My wonderful husband got a job as an assistant principal in Beloit, WI!  He came home from work in May and said, “I got the job! We’re moving…in 2 weeks! ” I will admit, I felt like crying.  I was battling first trimester fatigue and nausea and packing up and selling the house and bidding all of my dear friends (and clients) good-bye was an emotional nightmare!  I finished up several sessions before leaving- including one the morning we left!

We’ve been on the road a lot!  We officially moved from north Houston in mid-June.  We drove straight to Beloit, WI to meet our parents and a realtor to purchase a house.  We closed on the house in the beginning of  July, moved in and went back to Grand Rapids for another week of summer.  I shot a handful of mini-sessions for some of my fave clients in Michigan- something I look forward to every summer!  (Preview yet to come.)  Here’s a few catch-up grandparent photos from the week I left Texas:
